The main objective of this project is to develop innovative and synergistic approaches, such as faecal microbiota transplantation (FMT) and phage biosanitation to improve animal health, minimize the risk of exposure to pathogens in the farms, and therefore reduce the dependence on antimicrobials for the treatment of enteropathogenic diseases caused by E. coli and Salmonella.
