REGGENERADA – Tools to improve the management of irrigation with reclaimed water for the sustainability of agriculture in Baix Llobregat

The objective of the REGGENERADA project is to use sensorisation tools (digitalisation), using commercial technology, to carry out continuous monitoring of irrigation water quality on demonstration farms in the Baix Llobregat, as well as to draw up irrigation recommendations that allow the water dose to be adjusted to the water needs and sensitivity of the crop to salinity. This objective is to improve the efficiency in the use of irrigation water and develop tools to help in the management of salinity in crops, contributing to the sustainability of fruit and vegetable growing in the Baix Llobregat.
