At IRTA, we are committed to attracting talent, both nationally and internationally. For this reason, last Thursday we participated in the BCF Career Event in Utrecht (The Netherlands), one of the leading events in the scientific and research field in Europe.

With a strong presence of universities, research centres and companies from the sector, the event brings together each year a large number of students, researchers and professionals looking for opportunities in the scientific field. For us, it was a key opportunity to raise our profile in an international context and connect with high-level candidates from around the world.

Throughout the day, we had the chance to speak with a wide range of profiles: from master’s students looking for internships to senior researchers with established careers. Many approached us out of curiosity, wanting to know who we are and why we had decided to come all the way here to introduce ourselves. Anna Casadella, Scientific Talent Manager, gave a presentation in which she explained our mission and research lines, while Laia Nomdedeu, People Development Technician, and Pol Mestres, Communication Technician and Scientific Management Support, completed the team throughout the day.

Participating in events like the BCF Career Event is a great opportunity to project our image internationally and make ourselves known around the world.
