The objective of this project is to develop the first certification scheme for assuring the welfare of Mediterranean farmed fish. This scheme will be initiated in seabream and seabass, the two most farmed Mediterranean fish species and will be used by retailers using the “WELFAIR™” brand, already in place for land farm animals.
