The objectives of the project are:

  1. To determine real data on antibiotic consumption in production farms of pig, poultry, bovine and rabbits;
  2. To examine the effect of the improvements of animal’s management and farm’s biosecurity systems on the consumption of antibiotics;
  3. To study the efficacy of antibiotic’s alternative products (prebiotics, probiotics, symbiotic) and the role of new vaccine formulations and immunopotentiators;
  4. Develop ICT to facilitate the interrelationship between producers, veterinarians, industry and research centers.
