Spectral flow cytometry unit with imaging for the analysis of infectious samples of biosafety level 3

This proposal aims to improve this common service by acquiring state-of-the-art flow cytometry equipment. The proposal is to purchase the "BD FACSDiscoverTM S8" spectral cell sorting cytometer, which is unique in its ability to separate cells while obtaining images of them in real time. These features expand the analysis capacity of the samples, increasing the potential applications of flow cytometry. This proposal would add to previous IRTACReSA initiatives aimed at reinforcing the common service offered, such as the recently established bioimaging unit.
