RHIZOIMPROVE – Rhizobiome improvement to mitigate grapevine root diseases under drought stress

The main objective of the RHIZOIMPROVE project is to investigate the impact of drought on soil fungal pathogens affecting vine rootstocks and to develop an integrated rhizobiome improvement strategy to minimise these harmful effects and improve soil health. By incorporating beneficial microorganisms and carefully selected root exudate metabolites, we strive to create a resilient and thriving ecosystem that protects vineyards from disease and promotes sustainable viticultural environments.
