Rejuvenation of irrigated almond plantations

The overall aim of the project is to obtain information on the tools available on how to rejuvenate irrigated almond plantations, which will be nearing the end of their useful life in the coming years. In this sense, the specific objectives of this project are:
1- Creation of an experimental-demonstration plot that can be a training itinerary in order to help farmers.
2- To evaluate agronomically, productively and economically different strategies for the renewal and / or rejuvenation of irrigated almond plantations that are already in the senescence phase.
3- To transfer to the sector all the basic technical information generated, by means of the creation of several publications and by means of the realization of days, talks and field visits of the experimental network.
