Regeneration of degraded margins on farms for the provision of ecosystem services

The general objective of this project is to transfer to farmers and technicians different methods to restore degraded margins present on farms. In this way, actions can be implemented that will lead to a reduction in soil erosion, the elimination of the use of herbicides for the management of the flora of the margins, and the increase of biodiversity.
To this end, the following specific objectives are set:
1- Restoration of different types of degraded margins in demonstration farms
2- Elaboration of a guide for the restoration and maintenance of margins in agricultural estates
3- Transfer and show the demonstration activities in technical conferences, through an informative video and the communication channels of the IRTA and the Emys Foundation.
