These are the objectives of the project:

  • Establish reference plots, experimental and demonstration platforms for irrigation in vineyards, pistachio orchards, high-altitude apple orchards and olive groves in Segarra-Garrigues
  • Adapt and adjust irrigation strategies to improve production efficiency and crop quality
  • Facilitate and encourage producers to adopt irrigation practices in the new irrigated areas of Segarra-Garrigues
  • Create a forum for technical debate between technicians, producers, processors, scientists, etc. to advance knowledge and learn how to implement and manage irrigation water for these crops.
