The overall objective of the project is to promote sustainable extensive livestock farming that favours biodiversity and appeals to younger generations, not only serving to manage the land through silvopastoral activities that reduce the risk of fires and clean up our forests, but also boosting the local economy by reversing the depopulation of mountain areas.

Therefore, although most of the actions are carried out in the Vilamòs area, the main objective is to develop a model that can be replicated in other areas, obtaining the necessary data to transfer this knowledge to locations with similar problems in the future.
