The global objective of PIGHAVIOUR is to increase the scientific knowledge on the relevant host-microbiota interactions that contribute to hosts’ homeostasis and to use this understanding to set up innovative microbiota-tailored strategies that promote production sustainability optimising efficiency, animal behaviour and welfare in pigs.
