Enhancing Climate-Resilient Rice Varieties: A Multi-Trait Approach to Tolerance for Salinity, Drought, and Weeds

This proposal aims to address a serious problem in rice cultivation, namely the growing threat of salinity and drought due to water scarcity, as well as weed infestation due to the emergence of herbicide resistances. Through Plant Breeding, this project will combine salinity tolerance to drought or allelopathy to help deal with them. The achievement of the objectives of this proposal will affect a large number of farmers and companies associated with rice cultivation.
