Characterisation of forest management and socio-economic boosting in mountain areas through a communal herd in a digital environment

The project's general objective is to promote sustainable extensive livestock farming that favours biodiversity and is attractive to new generations, which not only serves to manage the territory through a silvopastoral activity that reduces the risk of fires and cleans up our forests, but also boosts the local economy by reversing the depopulation of our rural and mountain areas.
To this end, although most of the actions are carried out in the Vilamòs area, the main objective is to develop an approach model that can be replicated in other areas, obtaining the necessary data to transfer this knowledge to sites with similar problems in the future.
