Graduated in Veterinary Science at the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB) in 2014. Currently specialised in laying hens and poultry, she actively participates in the European Reference Centre for Animal Welfare for Poultry and other small farmed animals (EURCAW-Poultry-SFA). She is a trainer of the animal welfare assessment protocols Welfare Quality in broiler chickens, laying hens and quail. She has also been involved in the following lines: on-farm and slaughterhouse animal welfare assessment using Welfare Quality protocols in all species; animal welfare assessment in mink farms using Welfur protocols; animal welfare in alternative production systems; use of new precision technologies in animal production.
