Landscape and water management interaction in rice farming: impact on aquatic biodiversity and pest control provisioning

Buffering the impact of invasive pest species in crop production while preserving farmland biodiversity is among the main challenges we must face in the coming decade, as recognized in regional, national, and international policies. The general objective of WATERSCAPE is to increase the sustainability of rice farming by providing a powerful
knowledge base that help at designing efficient management plans of the rice water weevil that allow to support both rice yield and aquatic biodiversity.
