Being able to improve the organic production of chickpeas and lentils, both in terms of yield and quality, while at the same time reducing the uncertainty component by deepening our knowledge of their adaptation to the cultivation area, are the two major challenges on which this proposal is based. The transfer of this knowledge must serve to promote the interest in introducing these species into the rotations of organic production systems with the associated benefits in terms of improving the sustainability of Catalan organic agricultural production.
