Responsible

SHARE

LEVABENTOX aims to improve knowledge about potentially toxic benthic dinoflagellate communities (hereinafter DBPT) on the south coast of the Spanish Levant. DPTB have a negative impact on food security and biodiversity. In addition, they are considered an emerging risk related to climate change (CC), as they are expected to expand their range into temperate regions and colonise new habitats.

This project is developed with the collaboration of the Biodiversity Foundation of the Ministry for Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge, through the Pleamar Programme, and is co‐financed by the European Union through the European Maritime, Fisheries and Aquaculture Fund.
