Bacteriocin rich extract from engineered lactic acid bacteria as an antibiotic alternative for therapeutic and prophylactic use in ruminants and aquaculture
An acid lactic bacteria will be engineered to produce stronger bacteriocin, as well increase the overall bateriocin production in the strain. Bacteriocin-rich extracellular fraction, cell extract fraction or a combination of both will be the final product
