Innovative remote sensing tools to mitigate the effects of climate change on irrigated agriculture and forestry areas in Catalonia

The main objective of ENFOCAT is to make use of the most innovative remote sensing techniques to develop technological solutions that allow:
(i) Estimate and make a quantitative forecast of irrigation water applied in agriculture to strategically change the management of agricultural water, encouraging rational use, i
(ii) Develop tools to monitor water stress in forests to reduce their water use and increase their carbon storage capacity.
