Sustainability aspects of animal welfare-promoting livestock systems

The aim of the present action is to establish a multidisciplinary European network of scientific experts to produce draft foresight and priority reports on facilitating AW within the scope of livestock sustainability. The general framework of this multidisciplinary network for improving AW will embrace all aspects of livestock systems on-farm, during transport and at the end of life, for all livestock systems, including aquaculture and fisheries.
