Adaptation of downy mildew risk models to the climatic conditions of DO Empordà and other winegrowing areas of Catalonia to reduce the use of copper in PAE.

Actions aimed at improving downy mildew control are much needed by the sector. In this context, there are already tools available that can help in this regard, such as risk prediction models. However, one of the problems of risk prediction models is that they have to be adjusted to the climatic conditions of each location to avoid overestimating the risk, and therefore, treating more than necessary.
