The second edition of the European Joint Action on Antimicrobial Resistance and Healthcare-Associated Infections aims to change how Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) is tackled worldwide by adopting the “One Health” strategy.

EU-JAMRAI 2 brings together 30 European countries and more than 120 partners to make Europe a benchmark for good practice, supporting the implementation of concrete measures to reduce AMR from a “One Health” approach.

Establishing a European framework for programmes on the responsible use of antimicrobials in human, animal and environmental health.

Promoting innovation for infection prevention and control in Member States and associated countries. Improving access to selected antimicrobial products for human and veterinary use. Promoting an integrated AMR surveillance system from a “One Health” perspective.
