The main objective of this proposal is to develop an in ovo vaccine against IBDV in chickens based on the patented immunogenic platform technology (EP22382383). The project will develop a novel anti-IBDV vaccine based on VP2 protein-only microparticles that overcomes the limitations of currently used vaccines using new, simple, scalable and cost-effective protein engineering concepts.
