Tool for estimating methane emissions from feedlot steers using a laser methane detector from a “calculator” application.

The objective of this DEMO project entitled "BEEFMETALIST - Methane emission estimation tool for fattening steers using a laser methane detector and a calculator application" is to provide the beef cattle sector with a practical tool to estimate more accurately the rumen methane emissions of fattening steers using a laser methane detector with the creation of a "calculator" application (App), and thus be able to detect weak points with potential for improvement in order to reduce emissions in the beef cattle production system. The name "LIST" indicates that we will be able to have a list, an inventory through this tool of the methane emissions of ruminant origin in our territory.
