The general objective of the present proposal is to develop a predictive testing platform based on organoids derived from potential zoonotic pathogens’ reservoirs (e.g., from livestock and wildlife animal species), to study pathogen-host interactions and to identify viral mechanisms that drive cross-species transmission and zoonotic outbreaks
