Through their activation or repression, they can contribute to the phenotypes of adult animals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This functional information is used to increase the accuracy of genomic prediction models. IRTA has contributed to the generation of expression data and eQTL analysis and empirical validation of models with intermediate phenotypes (expression) and ordinary phenotypes (immunity traits and indicators of stress, feed efficiency and other production traits).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-full is-resized\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.irta.cat\/wp-content\/uploads\/Gene-Switch_Roma.jpg\" class=\"fancybox irta-lightbox-bridge\" data-fancybox=\"irta-images\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.irta.cat\/wp-content\/uploads\/Gene-Switch_Roma.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-53258\" width=\"750\" loading=\"lazy\" \/><\/a><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During the meeting, the main results obtained in the last year on functional annotation and their impact on the main production traits were presented.
