The reception, carried out at the St. George Hall of the Generalitat de Catalunya Palace, was held by the President of the Generalitat of Catalonia, Carles Puigdemont, who awarded a badge with the shield of the Government to all members of these programs.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-US\">The aim of the <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/act.gencat.cat\/ccb\/programa-ambassadors\/\"><span lang=\"CA\">Programa Ambassadors de Catalunya<\/span><\/a> <span lang=\"EN-US\">of the Catalonia Convention Bureau (CCB) is the support of ambassadors and their organizations in order to create new business opportunities and generate knowledge in the Catalan territory.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-US\">An ambassador is a country recognized professional in his field (university, scientific, medical or economic), an active member of associations, institutions and national and international colleges.
