The general objectives of the present proposal are to finely dissect the innate immune response of the pig against two major swine enteric coronaviruses (PEDV and TGEV) at two different ages with different clinical outcomes, and to develop an ex vivo enteric model to test compounds able to modulate the mucosal immune response against infection.
