The objectives are:
- Designing diets and enrichment protocols of live prey adequate for the larvae of each one of the species.
- Setting a standard methodology of the enrichment process according to the administered enrichments.
- Study of the effect of enriched live prey on the larvae’s survival, growth, nutritional condition, resistance to handling and health.
- Once the specific requirements of each one of the larvae by the administration of enriched live prey has been established, development of commercial or non-commercial inert diets that can be used to totally or partially substitute enriched live prey.
