Improving feed efficiency is a main goal of meat production industry because of its huge impact on profitability of the farms and because it leads to a reduction in emissions to environment and to a more sustainable use of resources, which are important concerns for society.
This project aims at enhancing the effectiveness and feasibility of breeding programs for improving FE at growing and lactation in prolific species.
