IRTA establishes itself as a leading hub for innovation at the Alimentaria exhibition

More than 60 start-ups and spin-offs took part in the section dedicated to entrepreneurship and innovation in the food and hospitality sector, Food & Hospitality Startups (F&HS), co-organised by IRTA and Alimentaria+Hostelco.

The aim was to facilitate links between entrepreneurial talent, applied research and industry in order to accelerate the transfer of innovation. On this occasion, start-ups had the opportunity to take part in networking events and B2B meetings. They will also had the chance to present their projects to investors, companies and key industry professionals.

All these initiatives were coordinated by IRTA, which, together with the Department of Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries and Food of the Government of Catalonia and in collaboration with ACCIÓ, showcased its work in an area covering more than 600 square metres, with the support of Caixabank.
