The objectives of this project are:
- Getting cider apple and table varieties of high quality fruit, resistance to fungi, bacterial fire and aspen aphid.
- Development of a methodology of in vitro evaluation of sensitivity / tolerance (S / T) to bacterial fire.
- Identification of markers linked to fruit quality, resistance to fungi and bacterial fire, by means of a genetic association study (Genome Wide Association Study) in a variety population of the SERIDA Germplasm Bank.
- Application and verification of the efficacy of new molecular markers determined in the selection of high interest genotypes.
