I am doctor in Biological Sciences. My current research field is the study of ectomycorrhizal fungi and the production of inoculated plants for improving their performance and the production of edible sporocarps. The main objectives of my current research projects are the development of techniques for the production of plants inoculated with high-valued edible mycorrhizal fungi and the adaptation of molecular techniques as SSCP, specific PCR and real-time PCR for monitoring the persistence of the target fungi in the field and predicting fruit body production.
